Director Luca merli

Born in Milan on the day man landed on the moon, Luca (like the astronauts) took a world view and his chosen path led him to directing commercials on just about every continent. Although Italian, Luca is no stranger to the UK, having an MA from Goldsmiths College, University of London.

Since 1996, Luca has directed many international campaigns. Credits include Nike, Nissan, Telecom Italia Mobile, Gas Jeans, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Nintendo and Sector, as well as music videos for Italian and international bands such as Planet Funk, Suzanne Vega and Subsonica. Nowadays Luca works internationally as both a director and a photographer and is delighted to be represented in the UK by Commercials Unlimited.
