Product: Kellogg’s Fibre Plus
Detail: 1 x day mute FX shoot plus 1 x day sync location shoot
For the UK and Ireland network launch of this new product from Kellogg’s, the actress/presenter Angela Griffin was the perfect choice; popular, effervescent and more than capable of getting the crowd going and keeping them going.
A great deal of planning went into the choice of location – a shopping centre (they were incredibly helpful) where we were able to go in and set up our pre-fabricated staging early on the morning of the shoot – and into the organisation and management of the public at large. Our job was made easier by the product being so popular.
We shot and edited the product sequences the week before to enable this to be shown on the day on the large plasma screen integral to the set.
With hundreds of people to control, the day wasn’t as long as we’d feared since we covered all Angela’s dialogue scenes first then concentrated on the reactions and interaction scenes that Angela so easily (and professionally) was able to draw from a willing and excitable public.

It was a real pleasure to work with Commercials Unlimited again. Shooting live action in a hard-to-control environment such as a shopping centre was always going to be a nerve racking experience but the detailed planning and background work done by Simon and Neil put our minds at ease. The shoot went very smoothly, as did post. Ian was the perfect director for this, creating an instant rapport with cast and passersby alike, enabling him to capture some lovely moments.
Commercials Unlimited worked closely with us from pitch to post, they were extremely helpful and flexible catering to our many many requirements.
