Animation showreel - 25 years of great animation

We have a long history in animation to live up to! Producer Jo Marsden (formerly Kemp) wrote the stories for Chorlton and the Wheelies and the Magic Torch, we produced 110 x ten minute episodes of The Raggy Dolls and we’ve made literally hundreds of animated commercials.

We've found this is proving to be very popular with agencies and clients alike since animation is so much open to interpretation and visualising the end result can be difficult.

Since animation is so varied, we like to provide initial character designs, key visuals and animation tests as part of our Pitch Presentation. This enables both agency and client to better visualise the proposed end result. .

Series Work

We produced the long running series ‘The Raggy Dolls’ through our (then) sister company Orchid Productions. This led to us having one of the largest independent animation studios outside London at the time.

Unlike today, when it’s largely a freelance market with satellite facilities, the studio employed some 35 people with all the production facilities in-house. It was a natural progression to animated TV commercials and ultimately live action particularly when we could boast animation and live action combined.

Some 20 years later, the Producers Jo, Neil and Simon are still together and with this wealth of hands-on experience, have continued to embrace and adapt to the changing technology, dictates and fashions that surround animation in all its diverse forms.
